Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare your chicken wings by cleaning them and patting them dry with paper towels.
  3. Season the wings with salt and pepper, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  5. Bake the wings for 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through to achieve even crispiness.
  6. While the wings bake, heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
  7. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and golden brown.
  8. Pour in the heavy cream and stir in the hot sauce, letting it simmer for a few minutes until slightly thickened.
  9. Remove the wings from the oven and toss them in the spicy cream sauce until thoroughly coated.
  10. Return the sauced wings to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes to set the sauce.

Notes

Marinating wings in hot sauce for an hour or overnight enhances flavor. Experiment with different hot sauces for custom heat levels.
