A classic Italian dish featuring crispy breaded chicken breast layered with rich marinara sauce and melty cheeses, served over spaghetti or zucchini noodles.

  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Spaghetti or zucchini noodles (for serving)
  • Optional: Caesar salad and cheesy pull-apart bread for sides

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Bread the chicken breasts by dipping them in beaten eggs and coating them with breadcrumbs.
  3. Place the breaded chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until cooked through.
  4. In a baking dish, layer marinara sauce, place the baked chicken on top, and cover with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake for an additional 10–15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Serve over cooked spaghetti or zucchini noodles with a side of Caesar salad and cheesy pull-apart bread.

Notes

Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after baking for optimal juiciness. Freshly grated Parmesan cheese enhances flavor and melts better.
