  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs (oregano, basil, thyme)
  • 0.5 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Combine the cooked penne pasta and shredded chicken in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Whisk together the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, dried Italian herbs, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper in a separate bowl until blended.
  4. Pour the cream mixture over the pasta and chicken, stirring until well coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  6. Mix the breadcrumbs with olive oil in a small bowl until slightly moist, then sprinkle over the pasta bake.
  7. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
