  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 packet (1 oz) ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, extra cheese, ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, shredded cheddar cheese, ranch seasoning, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Form the mixture into four equal-sized patties without compressing them too tightly.
  3. Preheat a lightly oiled grill or skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5–6 minutes per side, checking that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Optionally, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
  6. Assemble the burgers with your choice of optional toppings and serve.

Notes

For best results, refrigerate patties for 15-30 minutes before cooking to help them hold their shape. Experiment with different toppings and cheese types.
