A flavorful Black Pepper Chicken dish with bold flavors of black pepper, soy, and oyster sauce that is easy to prepare and perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced (optional)
  • 1 onion, sliced (optional)
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken with black pepper, soy sauce, and oyster sauce for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and stir-fry until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. If using, add sliced bell pepper and onion, and stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving. Serve hot with rice.

Notes

Adjust the amount of black pepper in the marinade according to your spice preference. For a saucier dish, consider adding a splash of chicken broth towards the end of cooking.
