Best Chicken Breast Marinade Recipe

A flavorful marinade that transforms ordinary chicken into a tender and juicy meal with pizzazz.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 ½ pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts

Instructions

  1. In a large Zip-lock bag, combine olive oil, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, lemon juice, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Squeeze the bag to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  3. Add the chicken pieces into the bag.
  4. Massage the marinade onto the chicken by squeezing the outside of the bag to ensure even coverage.
  5. Place the bag in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, preferably for 4 hours.
  6. About half an hour before grilling, remove the bag from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature.
  7. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  8. Take the chicken pieces out of the bag and shake off the excess marinade.
  9. Grill the chicken for approximately 5-6 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 155°F.
  10. Remove from the grill, cover with foil, and let it rest for 5 minutes to reach 165°F.
