Deliciously baked chicken leg quarters with crispy skin, easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.

  • 4 chicken leg quarters
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: fresh herbs like thyme or rosemary

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken leg quarters dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, mix olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Rub the mixture all over the chicken leg quarters.
  5. Place the chicken in a baking dish or on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for about 45–55 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy.
  7. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.

For extra crispness, broil briefly at the end of cooking, watching closely to prevent burning.
