A delicious and guilt-free recipe for baked breaded chicken cutlets with a crispy crust and juicy chicken.

  • 4 chicken cutlets
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Dip each chicken cutlet in flour, then in the egg, and finally in the bread crumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
  4. Place the breaded cutlets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the cutlets.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

For an even crispier texture, use panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs. You can also prepare the breaded cutlets ahead and refrigerate them before baking.
