Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Prepare the honey garlic mixture by whisking together the honey, melted butter, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  2. Set aside half of the honey garlic mixture to drizzle on the finished chicken tenders.
  3. Coat each chicken tender in the honey garlic mixture thoroughly.
  4. Roll the coated chicken tenders in breadcrumbs, ensuring even coverage.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  6. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  7. Place the chicken tenders in a single layer in the basket.
  8. Cook the tenders for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and fully cooked.
  9. Drizzle the reserved honey garlic sauce over the tenders before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the honey garlic mixture for a few hours before cooking. Consider using panko breadcrumbs for added crunch.
