1 lb cooked and shredded chicken breast
1 box Rice-A-Roni (chicken flavor)
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup melted butter
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked, shredded chicken with the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, melted butter, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
Prepare the Rice-A-Roni according to package instructions.
Once done, stir the prepared Rice-A-Roni into the chicken mixture.
Add the shredded cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese, mixing until everything is well combined.
Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13-inch casserole dish and spread it evenly.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden on top.
Let it cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For added flavor, try adding a dash of paprika or dried herbs. If the casserole is too soupy, bake it longer to let excess moisture evaporate.
